Based mainly out of Rockwood Park, the Saint John Cycling Trail Crews mission is to provide awesome, well maintained bike specific and multi use trials for all user groups.

The SJC Trail Crew are passionate trail stewards and their efforts have resulted in the successful development and maintenance of the 35 km Rockwood Park Trail Network. SJC Trail Crew averages over 1500 hrs of volunteer sweat equity a year, equaling over 18,000 hours of trail building and trail improvements over 12 years. All shovels in the dirt by multitude of community members, from various user groups of various age, sex, cultural and economic backgrounds!   .

The City of Saint John are an incredible partner in the Rockwood Park maintenance efforts, providing permissions and financial support to SJC Trail Crew. The City of Saint John over the years has provided training opportunities for volunteers with International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) workshops, that teach modern sustainable trail building techniques. â€‹
