 Beginner MTB Skills Area Rebuild
2nd Phase

Saint John Cycling is excited that our 2nd phase redo fundraiser of the Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Area has received most of the funding support needed from the City of Saint John and Province of NB currently! We are also stoked to announce an additional accessibility element to this project. The refurbished Millennium Falcon Flow Trail, in this beginner skills area, will be Saint John's first adaptive bike friendly, off-road wheelchair accessible trail!

We have secured 3/4 of the $52,000 funding required for this project and hopefully construction will begin this fall, with projected opening in the spring of 2027. We still have approx. 20,000$ to raise and SJC is actively looking for business sponsorship for the remaining cost! Please message us with leads to potential sponsors at hello@saintjohncycling.com , and or  directly donate below.

1st Phase

In 2025 SJC under took deconstruction and rebuild of the well frequented Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Park at Rockwood Park. Through funding support and donations from the City of Saint John,

Bird Construction, Sea Side Plumbing and Nightingale Tree Services. as well as paid and in kind service from local contractor Dig In Trailbuilding, we successfully completed  a modernized rebuild of the Mtb Beginner Skills Park! Not only factoring in fun, but skills progression as part of designed features! Thanks to all involved that helped make this happen!
